About our boat
Nereida is a classic wooden Rena Class sailing yacht, designed in 1944 by John G Alden, one of the greatest naval architects of all time. She was built in 1984 of iroko and mahogany, the last known yacht of this design – considered by many to be John Alden’s finest. Supremely elegant under sail, steadfast in heavy seas, the Rena yachts included royalty amongst their proud owners. Nereida has crossed the Atlantic several times as well as sailing all over the Mediterranean.
Inside she is panelled in mahogany and furnished in traditional style with brass fittings and leather upholstery. She is available for boat trips, private skipper charter, film shoots and sailing holidays.
Restored by the current owners in 2012, she fully conforms to European safety standards.
